Kati Sandmann is an international illustrator and artist based in Oaxaca, Mexico. She creates soulful and narrative-driven illustrations, artwork and designs for covers, storybooks and editorial features.

 

Originally from Germany and educated in Drama and Theatre Arts in Scotland, her background includes analogue photography, writing, translation, music, and performance.

 

By combining traditional painting with digital design, Kati makes imagery that complements text and adds deeper layers of meaning.
