Concept & Illustrations for a storybook

In Mexico it is said that for every human soul born into this world, an animal is born in the wild. It is the guardian of your soul.

Tiger Lily's Magic

In school, Lily was taught about all the dangers looming in the wild, and how to keep out of trouble. Her own experience, however, was contrary to those lessons: She found much more peace and harmony among her friends in the jungle than when her parents turned on the tv to watch the news at night.

The Raven Mother

It is said that a "raven mother" doesn't look after her children and pushes them out of the nest too early. The truth is that the raven baby flees before it is ready, and so the mother still feeds it while the youngster is already on the ground, learning to fly.

Lucinda Plays for the Stars

Sometimes, you're in a room full of people and feel all alone. Other times, you're all alone, but feel connected to something much bigger than yourself. Funny, don't you think?

Spooky Tales

Maybe it was because he was so good-natured and got along extremely well with everybody, but there was nothing that Capybara liked as much as listening to his human read him some scary stories late at night.

Beto & Betta: Two Truly Cheerful Champions

Although these two besties are highly successful, win every underwater chess tournament with their ruthless tactics and cunning strategy, and are feared by players all over the world, I've yet to see them smile.
