Oaxacan Day of the Dead Tarot

Día de los Muertos is undoubtedly the most famous and important celebration in Mexico, and especially Oaxaca. This commissioned series is an adaptation of 9 of the Major Arcana from the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck.
The client asked me to reinterpret the cards with symbology and visual language from the Day of the Dead festivities in Oaxaca. They are now printed on cards and tote bags.
